The 2008 range versions of the Chorus front derailleurs have a standardized fork that is compatible with both standard and compact cranksets, a front derailleur body redesigned so as to embrace the two plates and guarantee snappier shifting, and a new inner plate which is overturned compared with the previous one to improve the thrust of the chain when shifting towards bigger sprockets.
